Hello, hello! Welcome to Both Feet Forward. I’m Sarah, and I’ll be your guide of sorts.

One of the perks of being gluten free is getting an entire pumpkin cheesecake to myself.

This blog was started for a number of reasons, the most important of which is that I’m a strong believer in doing what you dream about doing. I have always loved traveling and have wanted to see more than just Europe and America for a really long time. When I decided my senior year of college to travel after I graduated the excitement I felt made me realize that this was exactly what I wanted to be doing.

In writing this blog I hope to inspire others, especially my peers, to do something they’ve always wanted to do.

A little bit about me…

I was born and raised in Los Angeles, which means that I surf a lot, am very tan and always say “dude.” Just kidding — except maybe the part about adding “dude” to everything.

I recently graduated from college and, after studying tirelessly through high school and college, want to do anything but school. Hence why I’m now traveling!

I’m a writer, which is cool because it means I can work from just about anywhere in the world. I’m also an avid reader and will spend lots of time at the local library. Food is my favorite, although I’m gluten free, which can sometimes make finding food I can eat a challenge. I love to hike, so going to New Zealand, land of hiking, makes me giddy.

I also really enjoy talking to people, so if you have any questions or comments, send them my way. I’m happy to oblige.
